A brand that looks like one business, everywhere
Your logo, colours and type should look the same on your website, your social media, your van and your invoices. I design brand identities for small businesses, from first logo concepts to the graphics you use every week.
My own brand, as a worked example
This is the identity I designed for Gilmour Stellini: the Orbit monogram, wordmark, palette, type, business cards and a social template.

From first sketch to everyday graphics
Logo concepts
Several genuinely different directions to choose from, not one idea in different colours.
Logo refinement
Fine-tuning the chosen concept for small sizes, print, embroidery and signage.
Brand colour palettes
A primary palette with accessible contrast, plus accent and neutral colours.
Typography selection
Typefaces for headings and text that suit your brand and work on screen and paper.
Brand identity
A simple guide showing how to use the logo, colours and type correctly.
Business stationery
Business cards, letterheads, email signatures and proposal templates.
Social media profile graphics
Profile pictures, cover images and highlight icons that fit each platform.
Promotional graphics
Flyers, posters, banners and seasonal campaign graphics.
Brand consistency
Your website, marketing and printed materials checked against the same standards.
Picture logos, emblems and wordmarks
Logo concepts for the example businesses in my portfolio and a few more. Most use a picture mark people remember at a glance, shown full size and as an app or social icon.
A setting sun over two waves. Simple enough for a jet ski decal.
Six petals in rose and gold, like a flower opening.
Crossed shears under a moustache inside a stitched badge.
A lightning bolt inside a hexagon, like a nut or a fuse.
A sports car profile with a shine sparkle and a red road line.
Balanced scales drawn in fine lines, with brass pans.
A pressed wax seal with the M stamped into it.
Steam rising from a cup turns into an oak leaf.
A single tulip with two leaves, hand-drawn in feel.
A paw print with a smile hidden in the pad.
A house outline with a key as the door.
Two peaks and a rising sun, for climbing to your next goal.
These are original concept logos for example businesses, not real clients.
Two directions for my own brand
For Gilmour Stellini I kept two monogram concepts: Orbit, a minimal geometric G and S, and Circuit, a technology-inspired symbol. You get the same range of thinking for your logo.
